SELLER CODE OF ETHICS

Updated October 17, 2005

The designation of a My Poupette Recommended LV Reseller means you agree to the terms and conditions herein below, and failure to adhere to this Code of Ethics, as it may be revised from time to time, may subject you to removal from the My Poupette Recommended LV Resellers list.

You agree to:

1. Inspect each item before it is sold and disclose all visible defects, including any odors. Note: Odors include, but are not limited to, those such as cigarette or other smoke, mildew, mothballs and perfume.

2. Pack products in a sturdy box with cushioning, as required, to help keep goods safe from damage while in transit.

3. Always give the names of LV items being sold.

4. Always mention that the item is guaranteed authentic.

5. Not advertise an item as "Rare" or "Sold Out" if it is not.

6. Keep the customer's best interest in mind and do your best to make him or her happy with their purchase.

7. Be available for questions and additional photos, if requested by potential buyers.

8. Refrain from stating that an item is in like-new condition, unless you also point out all areas of wear and tear, including odors.

9. Mention where the item was made and whether or not it has a date code.

10. Post as many views of the item as practical, but not fewer than three.

11. Not overlook the condition of pockets. If they are peeling or sticky inside, you must mention this fact.

12. Not "recycle" photos unless the item is being relisted.

13. Mention if there is wear or rubbing on the leather piping, strap or anywhere else.

14. Mention if repairs were made and who did the repairs, if known.

15. Advise customers if any repairs are needed and if so, how soon.

16. Never advise customers to go to a leather or shoe cobbler for repairs, as it decreases the resale value of the item. Recommend that any and all repairs be taken to Louis Vuitton.

17. Disclose if auction decorations such as a box or ribbon are not included with the purchase.

18. Not refer to the "date code" as a "serial number."

19. List the item's model number wherever possible.

20. Give dimensions of the item and note any special features.

21. Not sell an item that is not in your possession.

22. Invest in a Louis Vuitton catalog as a reference tool.

23. Consult with Angie Houston, Carol Ives or Louis Vuitton if you are not positive of an item's authenticity, BEFORE listing it.

24. Charge reasonable shipping/ handling fees.

25. Not make guesses about aspects of an item. Check with Angie Houston, Carol Ives or Louis Vuitton to be certain.

26. Screen zero-feedback bidders to be sure they understand the auction rules and are not just on a joy ride to increase prices.

27. Be as prompt and patient as possible in answering inquiries. A potential buyer can never ask too many questions.

28. Be gracious in handling negative situations and not get into a name-calling war. Notify Angie Houston or Carol Ives if you feel the situation may get out of hand.

29. Leave appropriate feedback for others that does not include name-calling or rude language or innuendo.

30. Stuff tissue paper inside the item sold to keep its shape during shipment (and also inside the pockets to prevent rubbing), whenever this is practical. Wrap the item to ensure its safety against crushing or liquid damage.

31. Put descriptions, terms of sale, return policies, restocking or other fees and definitions in the auction description, not just in an "About Me" page.

32. List all pertinent information about the item in the auction description.

33. Abide by the policies of the auction site.

34. Not add a surcharge for use of payment services such as PayPal (applies to eBay auctions only).

35. Not require a written statement of non-authenticity from Louis Vuitton, as the company does not provide such a document. Instead, reference My Poupette.com as a source for proving authenticity.

36. Volunteer time to give back to the LV community by participating in the site's LV Discussion Forum, if applicable.

37. Not abuse the privileges that come with the "Recommended Seller" endorsement/title.

38. Notify My Poupette within 24 hours of any name change, eBay ID change or when you stop selling authentic Louis Vuitton products or if you become a non-registered user on eBay.

39. Ensure that all items sold, whether Louis Vuitton or others, are authentic.

40. Use the My Poupette Recommended Seller logo for all Louis Vuitton auction listings, ahead of any other logos except those owned by eBay or your personal logo.

41. Annual Administrative Fee

You agree to pay an annual administrative fee of $49.

42. Positive Identification

You agree to provide proof of your identity and address in a form acceptable to My Poupette within 36 hours of request. This information will be destroyed after verification.
